Job description

We are seeking a Senior Spring Boot Developer with strong experience in enterprise integration, microservices, messaging, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Kafka/JMS, Docker, and Kubernetes. The candidate will design and build scalable integration solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and work closely with architecture, DevOps, QA, product, and business teams., * Design and build integrations using Spring Boot and Spring Integration DSL, including:

Messaging channels
Transformers
Gateways
Filters
Routers
Aggregators
Routing patterns
Develop microservices, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka, JMS, ActiveMQ, or equivalent technologies.
Develop reusable integration components, standardized templates, and libraries to accelerate development.
Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and automated CI pipelines.
Design, deploy, and maintain Spring Boot services in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, container image standards, and deployment automation.
Optimize containerized workloads for scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead technical design discussions and participate in architectural reviews.
Influence integration strategies and recommend appropriate architectural patterns.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best-practice coaching.
Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, including presenting designs, explaining trade-offs, and aligning on timelines.
Drive projects independently from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with Spring Integration, including channels, filters, routers, aggregators, transformers, gateways, and related integration components.
Strong understanding and practical experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
Strong Java development experience with a focus on scalable, resilient, maintainable, and testable applications.
Expertise with Docker, container image management, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, JMS, or equivalent platforms.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub, or similar technologies.
Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, WireMock, and TestContainers.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Log4J, Splunk, or equivalent technologies.
Prior experience migrating applications from MuleSoft or other ESB technologies to Spring-based integration solutions.
Experience with API gateway frameworks such as Spring Cloud Gateway and/or APIM.
Experience with distributed tracing and observability frameworks.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases.
