Job description

Lead the design and development of end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js.
Own technical architecture decisions, including API design, data modeling, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
Provide hands-on development across backend microservices and modern front-end components, contributing roughly half of your time to coding.
Mentor and guide a team of developers through code reviews, pair programming, design walkthroughs, and technical coaching.
Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to break down requirements, estimate effort, and shape delivery roadmaps.
Establish and enforce engineering standards for coding, unit and integration testing, branching strategy, and documentation.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS or Azure) with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot production issues, drive root cause analysis, and lead performance, scalability, and security improvements.
Strong skills in REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, and Agile delivery required; fintech or financial services knowledge is a plus.
