Ben Allegretti Consulting (BAC) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a federal healthcare IT program focused on Electronic Health Record (EHR) Go Live stabilization, recovery, and post go live operations. This role supports informatics teams delivering rapid, high impact solutions across clinical workflow, training, data quality, and knowledge management workstreams. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies, support value stream and Agile Release Train activities, and help teams deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a fast paced, mission driven environment supporting patient care.
What You Will Do

Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for one or more Agile teams.

Support Program Increment (PI) planning and coordination in a SAFe Lean Agile environment.

Identify, track, and help remove impediments that affect team performance and delivery timelines.

Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles, values, and best practices.

Partner with product owners and government stakeholders to prioritize and refine the backlog.

Support value stream enablement activities, including alignment of teams, funding, and resources.

Track and report sprint metrics, team velocity, and delivery outcomes to leadership and the government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).

Contribute updates to weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and the Contractor Project Management Plan as needed.

Foster collaboration across cross functional clinical informatics, training, and technical teams.

Support continuous process improvement efforts, including defining and monitoring key performance indicators., This is a remote position performed within the United States. Occasional travel to Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities may be required to support training, go live, or stabilization events. All work is performed in support of a federal healthcare IT contract and requires compliance with applicable federal security, privacy, and background investigation requirements.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a comparable Agile facilitation role.

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile practices.

Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and reporting requirements.

Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise eligible to work in the United States, and able to pass a background investigation at the Low or National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) level.

Willingness and ability to obtain a PIV credential and comply with federal information security and privacy requirements.

Ability to travel within the continental United States (CONUS) on an occasional basis, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Active Scrum Master certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).

Experience supporting healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation projects.

Familiarity with Oracle Health or VistA/CPRS environments.
-
Experience supporting federal government contracts, including familiarity with VA program structures.
-
Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
