Job description
o Troubleshoot Splunk indexing, search, ingestion, clustering, and performance issues. o Monitor platform health, capacity, data flow, and cluster performance. o Support multiple enterprise-scale Splunk clusters and large data environments. o Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain a reliable Splunk platform.
Requirements
We are hiring an experienced Splunk Data Engineer / Splunk Administrator with strong hands-on experience managing large-scale Splunk environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Splunk Enterprise/Cloud administration, clustering, data ingestion, search optimization, SmartStore, and high-volume data environments., o 5-7 years of hands-on experience administering large-scale Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud environments. o Strong experience with Splunk Indexer Clustering and Search Head Clustering. o Hands-on experience with Universal Forwarders and Heavy Forwarders. o Strong knowledge of Splunk SmartStore and S3-compatible object storage. o Strong proficiency in SPL, search optimization, summary indexing, and Data Model Acceleration. o Hands-on experience with Cribl for data collection, routing, filtering, and ingestion optimization. o Experience managing high-volume data ingestion, platform performance, and reliability. o Experience supporting approximately 500-600 GB/day or higher data volumes. o Experience managing and supporting multiple large Splunk clusters. o Strong troubleshooting skills across indexing, searching, ingestion, and overall Splunk platform performance. o Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments., o Splunk Enterprise Architect Certification. o Experience in financial services/banking environments. o Experience supporting very large-scale, high-volume Splunk environments.
