Job description

Within our IT department, whose mission is to strengthen the current team in group life insurance IT activities, we are looking for an Analyst/Developer to analyze and develop the solutions necessary for tool maintenance. The team consists of 6 colleagues who are eager to welcome you! Your responsibilities As an Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for, among other things: · Managing daily activities of the group life back-end application on the mainframe. · Delivering projects on time. · Daily monitoring of incidents (low volume). · Contributing to the generation of technical-functional documentation by analyzing the code and application behavior. · Implementing simple, structured, and efficient solutions.

Requirements

· You have a bachelor’s degree in IT development or equivalent experience. · You have at least 3 years of experience in IT solutions for life insurance. · You have excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with a good command of the other national language and can work easily in English. · You have good knowledge of COBOL / DB2 language; and knowledge of the mainframe domain and/or group life insurance domain is a plus. · You are proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint. · You are rigorous, organized, can manage your priorities, and meet tight deadlines. · You are able to work and learn quickly and at a sustained pace in a dynamic environment. · You have an analytical mind and are solution and results-oriented. · You can communicate with all types of stakeholders and are able to present results effectively and clearly to senior management. · You enjoy taking on challenges. · You are autonomous and take initiative. · You dare to think outside the box and be proactive with proposals. · You are a dynamic and open-minded person.
