Job description
As a VeroTech consultant, you will join a multidisciplinary engineering environment focused on defence guidance and control systems for air platforms. You will adapt and integrate GNC algorithms so they work reliably with customer platforms, using Model-Based Design methods and advanced simulation approaches. You will support multiple projects, collaborate with embedded, operations and quality teams, and take part in technical discussions with partners, integrators and customers. Your work contributes directly to algorithm performance, validation and platform integration., Adapt and improve GNC algorithms, control laws and aiming system logic for integration on customer air platforms Assess algorithm performance using analytical methods and simulation-based evaluations Perform validation and verification for algorithm updates and new designs Support integration into hardware through code generation and Hardware-in-the-Loop test rigs Improve generated C code and support embedded teams during device integration Participate in trials and process flight test data Maintain digital twins and collaborate with operations and quality teams on calibration procedures and acceptance test deviations
Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on algorithm integration engineer with solid analytical skills, strong communication abilities and the capacity to work in a complex, high-tech engineering environment. Master’s degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics or Electronics 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering department Strong competence in mathematics and statistics, with the ability to work efficiently with complex problems and large volumes of data Good knowledge of Matlab and Simulink Understanding of the challenges linked to embedding real-time algorithms in microcontrollers Analytical, thorough and self-motivated mindset, with strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms and work in an Agile culture Interest in high-tech sensors is a plus, and experience in aeronautics, space, defence or automotive, including knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO26262, is a plus Ability to work on site four days per week
