Test Engineer

• Test and maintain a new high-quality, scalable front-end application that integrates with internal APIs.
• Work on the UI part of a new Embedded Payroll Service connected to backend services.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business Analysts to deliver an elegant, performant, and reliable product.
• Work cross-functionally with Sage teams including Product Management, QA/XD, product lines, and business units.
• Experiment with new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product offerings.
• Participate in refinement sessions to provide complete stories with concise designs and acceptance criteria ready for delivery.
• Maintain documentation describing logic, coding or configuration, testing, and changes where applicable.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle.
• Work as an active and enthusiastic team player and partner effectively with team members to deliver commitments.
• Collaborate with global teams across Sage to define, design, deliver, and maintain services across the Payroll and HR Business Unit.

• Experience in front end testing with a focus on Playwright and accessibility.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot as a complementary tool to support efficient delivery.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with C# and SQL.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and DocumentDB.
• Tooling experience with Bruno, Postman, and Playwright.
• Experience with Agile development and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Manual and cross-browser testing experience.
