Job description
You may be a great fit if you have experience with:
- Designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Supporting ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or custom ServiceNow implementations.
- Developing and maintaining ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, or middleware solutions.
- Building workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, catalog items, and automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Supporting platform upgrades, enhancements, testing, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshooting platform issues, performance concerns, and integration challenges.
- Supporting Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and participating in sprint planning and delivery activities.
- Developing reports, dashboards, and performance analytics within ServiceNow.
- Managing multiple competing priorities while supporting enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Supporting governance, documentation, and ServiceNow development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, engineering, or administration experience.
- Experience configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, scripting, workflows, and ServiceNow development best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or similar areas.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly polished communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced environments.
Nice to Haves
- Active U.S. security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other ServiceNow certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise or government environments.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, integrations, and API development.
- Experience with automated workflows, orchestration, or process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management processes.
- Experience supporting platform governance, CMDB, or asset management initiatives.
