Job description
For an innovative company in the aerospace industry located in the Bremen area, we are seeking a Hardware Test and Verification Engineer (m/w/d)at the earliest possible date. This position is offered as a direct hire (permanent placement) opportunity. Ihre Aufgaben:
- Develop, define, and execute electrical test procedures for the verification and validation of electronic units
- Design and develop test hardware to support unit-level verification and qualification activities
- Support the bring-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic circuits for flight applications
- Plan, coordinate, and execute environmental test campaigns, including thermal and thermal-vacuum testing
- Manage and perform EMC/ESD as well as shock and vibration test activities in accordance with project requirements
- Perform requirements engineering and collaborate closely with Systems Engineering to ensure compliance with technical specifications
- Contribute to design reviews and provide technical support for parallel development and project activities throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in testing, ideally within the aerospace industry
- Proficient in using test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, electronic loads, and laboratory power supplies
- Strong knowledge of commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault analysis of electronic circuits and systems
- High level of initiative, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently and reliably on complex projects
- Very good written and spoken English skills, ideally complemented by German language skills; a valid Class B driver’s license is an advantage
