Job description
- Capture and translate customer needs into clear system specification and acceptance criteria
- Shape technical roadmap together with a team of system- & software engineers, breaking down requirements into tasks and milestones
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical improvements, and customer feedback
- Drive the development of user-centric, high-performance UIs with Qt/QML, aligning design with usability and architectural integrity
- Perform risk management activities by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact delivery
- Ensure high-quality product delivery on time within agreed budget and scope
- Manage collaboration with external suppliers and subcontractors, ensure seamless integration into the overall system
- Regularly monitor, evaluate and report progress, challenges and customer feedback. Keep stakeholders informed
Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace or comparable
- Work experience in the field of Engineering and Aerospace
- Professional experience across the entire system engineering lifecycle of simulation projects
- Experience in managing external suppliers and subcontractors
- Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps pipelines, containerization)
- Familiarity of software technologies (C++, Ot/QML)
- Understanding of military aircraft systems, operational procedures and mission workflows is considered as an advantage
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken
- German skills would be a plus, Orizonâs âAviationâ unit is the specialist for personnel secondment in the aerospace sector and - thanks to its excellent industry experience - offers you interesting perspectives in this field.
