Job description
Are you a skilled Full Stack Engineer looking to make an impact on large-scale, business-critical applications? We are seeking an experienced engineer to join a team focused on building and supporting modern cloud-native systems that power store operations, financial transactions, and event-driven applications across a large retail environment., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies.
- Develop and support event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka.
- Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and solution prototyping.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions to improve system reliability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Experience building applications using React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
- Understanding of performance, scalability, and system design principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with multi-region cloud architectures and high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of CQRS, eventual consistency, and distributed architecture patterns.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
