Job description

Lead design and development of scalable backend solutions in AWS.
Build and enhance student-facing products used by millions of users.
Partner with product owners, architects, and designers to deliver innovative solutions.
Develop modern applications using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical coaching.
Drive engineering best practices, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
Help shape and implement Generative AI solutions and engineering standards.

Requirements

7+ years building scalable web applications in AWS environments.
3+ years of Node.js development using TypeScript.
Strong AWS experience including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and related services.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, or other databases.
Generative AI experience such as RAG solutions, LLM-powered applications, chatbot implementations, or model fine-tuning.
Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous programming.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical architecture experience., * React.js experience.
OpenSearch/Elasticsearch experience.
Experience building highly scalable education, SaaS, or consumer-facing platforms.
