We are looking to add an Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator I to our team. In this position, you will provide frontline technical support for the Company’s information technology environment by assisting with hardware, software, and end-user technology needs that enable day-to-day business operations. This role contributes to reliable IT service delivery by resolving routine technical issues, supporting technology deployments, and maintaining technology assets in accordance with established procedures.
Working closely with Information Technology team members and end users, this role supports IT support activities, device provisioning, system maintenance, and service requests while developing foundational technical knowledge and delivering responsive customer service., * Resolve first-level technical issues across computers, mobile devices, printers, software, and business applications.
- Respond to service requests and troubleshoot routine hardware and software issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate Information Technology team members.
- Document service requests, resolutions, and support activities within the IT service management system.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and deployment of computers, peripheral devices, and standard software.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities by preparing technology equipment and user accounts.
- Maintain inventory records for hardware, software, and technology assets.
- Perform routine equipment setup, replacement, and relocation activities.
- Assist with routine system maintenance, software updates, and endpoint support activities.
- Support basic user account administration and password reset requests.
- Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational records.
- Follow Information Technology policies, procedures, and security practices while supporting technology operations.
- Support implementation of standard technology deployments and operational initiatives.
- Identify recurring technical issues and communicate opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Maintain an organized work area and ensure technology equipment is properly documented and tracked.
- Build productive working relationships with end users and Information Technology team members., Supports software deployment, monitoring, automation, and cloud operations under experienced DevOps guidance. Assists with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, Azure cloud resources, Terraform infrastructure, Docker images, system troubleshooting, and security best practices. The role is a three-month temporary engagement with possible conversion to regular employment. It is onsite in Centennial, Colorado, or Long Beach, California, and requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD clearance.
Requirements
- Associate degree, formal occupational training, technical certification, or equivalent education in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- Less than 1 year of experience in information technology support, help desk, desktop support, customer support, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of information technology support principles and customer service practices.
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software installation, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and business productivity applications.
- Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot routine technical issues and identify practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests and assigned tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with end users and Information Technology team members.
- Attention to detail when documenting support activities, maintaining technology assets, and following operational procedures.
- Ability to apply established support procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with endpoint management and device deployment tools, such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Jamf, or equivalent applications.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move computer equipment or office materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodation available as needed.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret technical information, system data, and operational requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees, vendors, and business stakeholders., Designs and engineers secure network and cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, Azure, and physical data centers. Responsibilities include threat modeling, network segmentation, monitoring, alerting, automation, attack-surface reduction, and secure connection patterns. The role drives strategic security improvements, partners with product and infrastructure teams, communicates architectural decisions, and mentors engineers. Candidates need deep hybrid networking and cloud security expertise, protocol knowledge, scripting ability, independent problem-solving skills, and strong communication.
