Job description

We are looking for an experienced AS/400 / IBM i RPG Developer to develop, enhance, and support applications on the IBM i platform.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AS/400 / IBM i development
  • Hands-on experience with RPG, RPGLE, RPG IV, and Free-Form RPG
  • Strong knowledge of CL/CLLE
  • Experience with DB2 for i and SQL
  • Application development, debugging, testing, and production support
  • Experience troubleshooting batch jobs and IBM i applications
  • Knowledge of IBM i libraries, objects, jobs, and job queues
  • Experience with system integrations/interfaces is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred: Experience with REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and IBM i modernization.
