You will lead initiatives that improve master data quality, support efficient consolidation and access processes, and drive adoption across business domains. This role combines strategic leadership, governance expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization.ResponsibilitiesLead and drive enterprise-wide Master Data Management initiatives across business domainsDefine and implement governance standards, processes, and best practices for master dataEnsure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems and platformsSupport efficient data consolidation and access control processesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with organizational prioritiesDrive adoption of master data standards and governance frameworks across teamsMonitor and improve MDM processes and governance maturityIdentify opportunities to leverage automation and AI capabilities to enhance master data processesAct as a trusted advisor on master data strategy and governance topicsYou are passionate about creating strong data foundations and enabling organizations to unlock value through trusted, well-governed information. Experience in Master Data Management, data governance, or related data disciplines Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles Experience leading cross-functional programs or enterprise initiatives Knowledge of master data processes, controls, and lifecycle management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working across business and technology teams Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Passion for data-driven transformation and continuous improvement Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus Location: Barcelona, Spain - home to Symrise’s Data & AI Hub, where innovation, technology, and collaboration come together in a truly global environment.
