Job description

Monitoring and troubleshooting network circuits using router commands, alarms, loops, and error analysis
Utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools to identify, track, resolve, and escalate network incidents
Supporting live global transport and IP network operations in a 24/7 environment
Creating, updating, and managing incident tickets using Remedy
Researching documentation and network data to resolve monitoring and performance issues

Requirements

3+ years of experience in network operations, fault management, alarm surveillance, or NOC environments
Experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, LAN/WAN, and transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, optical networking preferred)
Strong understanding of network topologies, routing, and performance management
High school diploma (additional directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of higher education)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at start date
Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $60,000 - $73,000 depending on experience
