Job description
The Client Technologies Specialist (Senior) for Maine eCourts will provide comprehensive onsite technical support across multiple judicial branch locations throughout Maine during the statewide implementation of the new case management system. This role involves troubleshooting, user training, system evaluation, and ensuring smooth technology integration to support court staff effectively. The position requires strong technical proficiency combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a home base in the Augusta, ME area and statewide travel. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technology support and services within judicial departments.
- Act as the integration liaison between business functions and technology requirements.
- Provide desktop computer support and ensure work is well documented for future reference.
- Follow quality standards and ensure effective and reliable backups are performed.
- Proactively address customer needs and communicate status updates clearly.
- Evaluate and recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripherals, and software.
- Investigate user problems, identify root causes, test, and implement solutions.
- Provide instruction and training to clerks of court and other judicial staff on the new case management system.
- Identify potential system functional limitations and communicate findings to the project management team.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to support statewide technology initiatives.
- Travel statewide to all Judicial Branch locations, using personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with end users.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to document work thoroughly and follow quality standards.
- Current and valid credentials required by the State of Maine.
- Completion of eVerify within three days of contract start.
- Security clearance as required by the Judicial Branch.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience supporting case management systems or similar judicial technology solutions.
- Prior experience providing onsite technical support and user training.
- Familiarity with statewide judicial branch technology environments.
Benefits & conditions
- 100% onsite position based in Augusta, ME with required travel to all Judicial Branch locations statewide.
- Candidates must reside within approximately one hour of Augusta, ME.
- Use of personal vehicle required for travel with mileage reimbursement.
- Strict adherence to submission requirements including removal of company logos from resumes and uploading required credentials before start.
- Teams interview candidates must upload a current screenshot photo prior to accepting interview request.
- No sub-vendors allowed.
Scheduling:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Standard work schedule aligned with Judicial Branch hours.
- Position duration from September 14, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
