Senior Data Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a client in the Des Moines, IA area. This individual will help support the data integration needs/requests from the business for the recent company acquisition. You’ll be in charge of leading these requests, this data could come from the sales, financial, HR/payroll, teams in order of priority. You’ll work close with the rest of the data team assist with additional operational tasks as needed.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage).

• Experience with API Integrations

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering

• SQL Server

• Python for data integration and analysis.

• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams, providing ideas and solutions. - Experience in Snowflake for Data Warehousing; or another relative data warehousing tool such as MySQL, Databricks, Redshift, etc.

• Power BI

Hourly pay rate for this position ranges between $50.00-$60.00 and is dependent on experience.
