Requirements
- Degree in physics or electronics (and ideally a PhD).
- Leadership experience on pulsed power, hydrodynamic codes or similar. This should include successful delivery of R&D projects. Further experience with machine learning based optimisation would be desirable.
- Experience with Python (or similar tools) for analysis. Additional experience with C++ or Fortran would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices.
Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in problem-solving are expected as projects are complicated and usually there are multiple stakeholders involved. Therefore, the ability to collaborate, coordinate and lead projects is important.
