Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with excellent customer-facing and problem solving skills to join the analytics team of a leading company in the electronics engineering sector.

You will collaborate with colleagues and clients across a range of technical disciplines to gather and report insights from customer data and drive the adoption of their new analytics platform. This effort will help guide the evolution of the company’s products and benefit their end users.

You will need excellent collaboration and communications skills and the analytical skills to sift datasets for valuable insights and present findings verbally and in written form in a way that is accessible to a non-technical audience. You will need to be customer-focussed, with the ingenuity to overcome any problems that arise and help guide the team to a successful outcome.

You will need:

• A 1st or 2.1 degree in a numerate STEM subject from a well-respected university
• Substantial hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence
• Practical understanding of databases, SQL, ETL, and data quality
• Good data visualisation skills, preferably in Tableau

Any experience with Talend, Snowflake, Domo, or Looker would be a bonus but not essential.
