Requirements

Skilled developers, graduate upwards, transition to C# cloud

This is an opportunity for talented software engineers, whether recent graduates or having gained more industry experience, to transition towards C#, the .NET Framework and .NET Core, and cloud services. If these technologies are already part of your skillset, even better. If not, but you’d be interested to learn, we would still like to hear from you.

You would join a skilled team of developers in Cambridge, who work in a relaxed and communicative office environment with the backing of a major multinational software company. They have an impressive client portfolio, servicing the needs of many top companies globally. They have strong developer connections with Microsoft, which brings a lot of perks. You’d work on major, challenging, interesting projects.

Recent graduate or otherwise, you will consider yourself a skilled developer already.

Work you may be involved in could include: advanced analytical software, component cloud architectures, component design and development, UI development (desktop or modern browser). Technologies you may learn and use would not only include C# and .NET but also the likes of Azure / AWS, React / Angular SPAs, SaaS, Docker, Kubernetes.

Your CV will show your:

  • Good degree in computing or another scientific/engineering subject, backed by strong A-level grades, ideally including mathematics; or equivalent industry experience.
  • Development skills and project experience. This may be a combination of academic and personal interest projects, and/or commercial work.
  • Knowledge of mainstream programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python or JavaScript.
  • Grasp of data structures, algorithms, and good collaborative software development practice.
  • Flexibility regarding languages and ecosystems you use, and the ability and inclination to learn quickly.
