Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for mobility infrastructure and digital signage products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and delivered on time.

• Create detailed designs and technical drawings for manufacturing, client approval, and installation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Proactively resolve design challenges and ensure products are developed within budget and on time.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, transportable, and maintainable.
• Assist in improving design and quality systems.

• Proven experience in design engineering, especially with architectural metalwork and fabrication designs.
• Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, or SolidWorks.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A degree, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• A CSCS card and CDM training are beneficial.
