Software UX Product Designer

This international team make pioneering software to assist invention. They are seeking a product designer with expertise in software user experience and UX research.

They have offices in Cambridge and overseas. Hybrid working is common. Your colleagues would be software engineers and inventors. The business has a strong track record and a household-name client base. Individual contributions and collective working are both valued.

You’ll take ownership of the user experience for their software platform, lead its design and prototyping (both interactive and visual), and work closely with the product director.

• A good technical degree in a relevant subject.
• Familiarity with the full design process including user research, interaction design, visual design, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative usability testing.
• A portfolio of commercial-grade product designs or client work, with a focus particularly on web-based applications (not web sites).
• A demonstrable interest in innovation, creativity or invention.
