Python ETL / ELT Engineer

You would be using the latest tools and technologies to build their next generation global analytics data platform. Working collaboratively with other data specialists, you would define ETL / ELT rules, and leverage the ETL / ELT architecture to create data pipelines for the new platform, allowing new business insights to be gained. Other activities may include continuous review of the data processing pipeline to ensure that it is up to date with the needs of the business and best practice, and to ensure the quality of the data.

• A solid academic background - a 1st or 2.1 degree in an applicable STEM subject from a well-respected university
• Strong software engineering skills: coding with Python and SQL, and familiar with version control tools and the SDLC
• A good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data mapping, formulating data transformations, and how to implement these as working solutions
• Full existing right to work in the UK without sponsorship, time limit, or restriction

Knowledge of QlikView, Power BI, or Tableau would be a bonus.

The role is based at the company’s offices in Cambridge, with some flexibility on remote working. In the early stages you may be collaborating remotely with New York-based colleagues while the UK team come up to speed.
