C# developer

A role for a senior developer to sink their teeth into, leading the design and development of clean, maintainable and well tested code, without the constraints of managerial obligations. Our client seeks a skilled C# developer, with a deep appreciation for commercial software development, to help develop their cloud platform for their market leading software products. They are looking for developers for whom C# is their natural first choice of software language, and who prefer to work by the industry’s best practices.

As part of a small team of skilled developers and engineers, your technical recommendations will steer the direction of the project and you will be relied upon for your feature design skills, familiarity with cloud platforms, analysis and trouble-shooting talents. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to debate and support your arguments with technical knowledge in a persuasive and collaborative manner., * A good degree (2.1 Hons or above) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another scientific subject

• Have significant professional software development experience and experience of modern software development methodologies
• An ability to design and write clean, maintainable code at a high level of technical competency in C#, combined with a deep understanding of the .NET framework
• Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.

Not essential, but your application would benefit from any experience you have in profiling and optimisation, ASP.NET MVC, HTML / CSS, SQL Server or experience of large-scale commercial software development.
