C# Software Developer - Remote Working

The successful Software Developer will be enthusiastic and bright with an excellent approach to good software programming techniques., Applicants will be able to show a good educational background, including a relevant degree from a well-ranked university and most of the following attributes and skills:

• Commercial experience programming in C# (you may currently be programming in another similar language but have knowledge of and desire to work in C#). ASP.NET (MVC) or comparable experience is welcome.
• An understanding of microservices, cloud-based services, RESTful APIs and, ideally, scalability.
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle including use of version control and bug tracking systems (such as Git, Jira).

A competitive salary and benefits are on offer for the right candidate. While the company is based in Cambridge, they are currently working from home and able to support someone who wishes to work remotely on a long-term basis. However, when travelling restrictions are lifted, there will be an occasional need to visit the client’s offices so any remote worker must have fast access to Cambridge.
