Job description

  • End-User Support: Provide over-the-shoulder support and local training evolutions for SAP functionality, specifically regarding Materials Management (MM).
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues (triage) to support user adoption and maintain system integrity.
  • Process Improvement: Implement approved business process and system enhancements in coordination with Business Support Office (BSO) direction.
  • Operational Stability: Support post-production activities to stabilize operations across Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain capabilities.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in business process mapping and functional area demonstrations for command leadership.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Required
  • Citizenship: US Citizenship Required
  • Education: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive, relevant experience
  • Work Schedule: Full-time

Mandatory Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited US institution
  • Compliance: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance, * Navy ERP Experience: Direct hands-on experience working within the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.
  • SAP Functional Knowledge: End-user experience in SAP Materials Management (MM), including PR, PO, IR, GR, and SES.
  • DoD Financial Management: Practical knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management (FM) regulations and processes.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to independently apply technical expertise to resolve complex functional defects.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Prior Navy Service: Military or civilian experience within Navy logistics or finance commands.
  • Module Exposure: Functional knowledge of SAP modules including FI, FM, CO, SD, PS, and WFM.
  • Change Management: Experience in workforce training, scheduling, and strategic communications.
