Job description
As Lead Actuarial Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in translating the ERGO Groupâs global pricing vision into tangible market results. Working alongside the Head of Global P&C Pricing Hub, youâll lead major initiatives that directly impact ERGOâs competitive positioning and profitability in all our international markets.
How you will get the job done
- designing and overseeing development of next-generation pricing models using ML, GLM, and advanced predictive techniques
- integrating AI-driven insights into multi-line pricing strategies for Motor, Property, Liability, Legal Protection, and other lines of business
- leading cross-country pricing analytics projects from concept to operational deployment
- establishing data governance and feature engineering best practices for high-quality modelling
- partnering with underwriting, product, and claims teams to align model outputs with business objectives, Letâs be balanced - work-life balance is a key aspect of a healthy workplace. Requirements
- fluency in English (C1)
- 5+ years of experience combining actuarial pricing and advanced data science in P&C insurance
- proven ability to lead cross-entity analytics projects and deliver measurable portfolio improvement
- expertise in Python, R, SQL, and ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- strong statistical modelling, feature engineering, and data visualisation skills
