Job description

You will build a stable and professional technology organisation. You will further set up the IT support team, currently consisting of 2 FTE, and additionally take charge of the development team of 5 FTE. Both teams require clear structures, predictable processes and direction. You bring this together in a way that suits a nationwide healthcare organisation, where security and reliability are paramount.

You will develop a solid foundation for support. This includes hardware management, inventory management, ticket flows from first to third line, SLAs, a knowledge base and uniform working processes for incidents, onboarding, escalations and reporting. At the same time, you provide direction to the development team. You do not need to have a development background, but you understand how to enable development teams to work effectively together, how to set priorities and how to guide teams towards consistent delivery.

You will also create a support blueprint for opening new locations. You ensure that support and development work together logically within this framework, so that the entire network is supported in a uniform, secure and efficient manner. You maintain oversight, decide what needs to be done today and what can be improved tomorrow, and ensure that the foundations remain solid.

Requirements

  • HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in ICT or technical business administration;
  • At least seven years of leadership experience within IT;
  • Experience managing first-, second- and third-line support teams;
  • Experience managing a development team and guiding developers in prioritisation, planning and collaboration;
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems such as Atera and endpoint management via Intune;
  • Experience with SLAs, processes, escalations and vendor management;
  • Advantageous: knowledge of ITIL, project-based working, healthcare IT or multi-site environments;
  • Strong analytical skills, decisive and focused on clear processes;
  • Strong communication skills with natural leadership qualities;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
