Job description
- Analysing performance across websites, digital campaigns and supporter journeys, turning findings into practical recommendations.
- Taking a multichannel view of performance across paid media, email, social media, organic search and other digital platforms.
- Maintaining and optimising the charity’s GA4 environment, including events, conversions, explorations and reporting.
- Implementing and maintaining tracking through Google Tag Manager.
- Using JavaScript and HTML within Google Tag Manager to implement and troubleshoot tracking solutions.
- Creating dashboards and performance reporting using Power BI, GA4 and other analytics tools.
- Using SQL to interrogate and analyse large or complex datasets.
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, retention and the overall supporter experience.
- Supporting A/B and multivariate testing and making evidence-based optimisation recommendations.
- Ensuring digital data collection remains compliant with GDPR and cookie consent requirements.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience implementing and maintaining digital tracking.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience producing dashboards and performance reporting, ideally using Power BI.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing channels and multichannel performance.
- Experience analysing user or supporter journeys and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- The ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to start at short notice and make an immediate impact.
Experience within a charity, fundraising or supporter-focused organisation would be helpful but is not essential.
Benefits & conditions
- £230-315 per day + daily holiday PAYE
- Three-month contract

About the company
The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with a leading children’s charity to recruit an experienced Digital Analyst for an initial three-month contract.
Working across Fundraising and Marketing as part of the wider Insight and Performance function, this role will transform digital data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve supporter engagement, digital performance and fundraising outcomes.
This is a hands-on interim opportunity for someone who can quickly understand an existing digital estate, maintain robust analytics and tracking, and provide stakeholders with the insight needed to optimise digital campaigns and supporter journeys.
