Requirements
Microsoft Fabric experience (required)
Strong understanding of Fabric environments, including Dev, Integration, and Production
Experience working with Bronze, Silver, and Gold data architecture/modeling concepts
Previous hands-on experience as a Software Developer, Data Engineer, DBA, or similar technical role
Knowledge of Python and PySpark
Experience leading Data Engineering, Reporting, or Analytics teams
Experience running Scrum ceremonies, standups, and Agile workflows
Vendor management experience
Experience with GitHub, code reviews, CI/CD, and software development best practices
Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and centralized reporting strategies
Experience managing technical teams and contractors Databricks experience

About the company
One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Sr. Manager of Data & Analytics to lead a growing enterprise analytics organization. This individual will oversee a team of Data Engineers, Data Modelers, Power BI Developers, and future Data Architects responsible for building a centralized enterprise data platform within Microsoft Fabric. The manager will provide technical leadership while owning project delivery, team development, vendor management, and strategic roadmap planning. On a daily basis, this person will facilitate Agile ceremonies, lead technical decision-making discussions, and ensure teams are following best practices around code reviews, GitHub repositories, QA/QC processes, and CI/CD automation. They will guide teams responsible for ingesting and transforming enterprise data using Python, PySpark, ADF, and Fabric while helping establish scalable data models and self-service reporting capabilities across the organization. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and executive leadership to build a future-state enterprise reporting environment while hiring and developing a team expected to grow to 7-8 employees over time. This is a permanent opportunity and will be hybrid in Garden Grove, CA or Carrollton, TX.
