Sr. IT Developer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Sr. IT Developer to join a dynamic team supporting software engineering and operations initiatives in a remote environment. This role blends hands-on application development with infrastructure and deployment work, offering the opportunity to contribute to both the build and reliability of critical systems. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and support software applications and system enhancements
• Build and maintain solutions using Java Spring Boot and Python
• Work with concurrency concepts, microservices, and test-driven development practices
• Participate in planning, implementation design, documentation, and system flow reviews
• Support ongoing application testing and production stability efforts
• Maintain clear operational and technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle
• Apply CI/CD practices to improve delivery quality and deployment consistency
• Contribute to operations engineering tasks involving Linux, shell scripting, and deployment tooling
• Work with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes to support infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Collaborate across development and operations responsibilities in an approximately 50/50 split

• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and Python
• Strong understanding of concurrency programming
• Experience developing or supporting microservices-based applications
• Knowledge of test-driven development practices
• Solid grasp of CI/CD concepts and workflows
• Linux fundamentals and shell scripting experience
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with moderate direction
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Understanding of SDLC concepts and software delivery best practices
