Job description

Location: Bay Area preferred, with ability to work from the office 1-2 days per week. Otherwise, must provide 4-6 hours of daily working overlap with Pacific Time

Requirements

  • Strong Python or TypeScript backend engineering experience
  • Production experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, workflow routing and multi-agent chaining
  • Strong API and schema design skills, including structured JSON input and output contracts
  • Experience combining user intent, conversation history, screen context and filters into downstream agent requests
  • Experience transforming agent results into narratives, tables, charts, citations and consistent application responses
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI services with AWS, Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore
  • Ability to independently deliver tested, production-ready code with minimal guidance

Preferred

  • Experience building capability registries, agent and tool catalogs, workflow skills or discovery services
  • Experience with MCP and API-first GenAI applications
  • Experience building analytics applications on top of existing semantic-layer or data-query agents
