Job description
Weâre looking for a Data Scientist to join our Partner Optimization team within FinTech Products. Youâll use statistical analysis, experimentation, and modeling to help us grow partner value: reactivating partners, reducing payment friction, and shaping how we expand into new territories and payment models. This is a role where your work directly drives business decisions: which partners to target, how to measure payout reliability, whether a new pay out model is working, and what the data says about where to invest next. Responsibilities:
- Analyze partner payment behavior to identify reactivation opportunities and measure whatâs working
- Design and interpret experiments that guide our partner payment strategy
- Build models and data stories that inform decisions on payout reliability, new market expansion, and payment model rollout
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to turn insights into action
- Contribute to our partner experimentation program, raising the bar on how we test and learn
Requirements
- Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, or quantitative modeling
- Experience translating business questions into analytical frameworks and communicating results clearly to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working independently on data preparation, analysis, and modeling - and knowing when to ask for guidance
- Curiosity about payments, marketplaces, or fintech (domain experience is a plus)
- Eagerness to grow your craft, share knowledge with peers, and engage with the broader data science community
- Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, economics, physics, computer science, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R)
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
- Familiarity with working in a data-rich
