Job description
Experteer Overview You will own end-to-end data solutions to address complex business questions in payments and accounting. You’ll build and maintain robust data pipelines, translate needs into scalable code, and drive data quality across teams. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to set success metrics and share insights that influence decisions. This role blends hands-on analytics with leadership in data quality and knowledge sharing, within Booking.com’s Global Accounting Analytics team. Pay / Benefits * Translate business needs into technical specifications and data solutions across stakeholders * Lead data quality initiatives, including root cause analysis, data reconciliation, and validation of reports and metrics * Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences to influence decisions * Drive adoption of new technologies to improve data infrastructure for scalability and reliability * Participate in and lead analytics team activities and contribute to the analytics community * Maintain understanding of the big data ecosystem and ensure successful project outcomes through cross-team collaboration * Develop deep expertise in the department’s operational, tactical, and strategic workings to identify opportunities Tasks * Master in a quantitative field (preferred) * 5+ years of experience in data analytics, insight generation, and data visualization * Proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions * Advanced expertise in SQL, PySpark, and Python * Experience designing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and transformations * Strong knowledge of big data platforms, version control, and modern data engineering best practices * Experience with financial metrics and payments data (a strong plus) * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to understand details while keeping the bigger picture in view * Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI, Mixpanel) Key requirements *
