Experteer Overview As a Data Scientist II in Global Finance Analytics at Booking.com, you will own end-to-end data science solutions across O2C to improve collections and payouts for partners. You’ll design robust experiments and translate business challenges into analytical plans that drive measurable impact. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analyses and evidence-based recommendations. This role offers a chance to shape financial processes at scale and partner experience through data-driven decisions. Pay / Benefits * Own end-to-end data science solutions from framing to impact measurement * Design and run statistically robust experiments to optimize collection and recovery * Analyze payout and collection journeys to improve partner outcomes * Translate business challenges into clear hypotheses and actionable recommendations * Collaborate with O2C operations, product, Finance, FinTech, data and engineering teams; communicate results to senior stakeholders * Build scalable, reproducible solutions with validation and peer review * Measure impact on collection performance, payout outcomes, write-offs, partner experience and adoption, and mentor junior colleagues Tasks * Proven experience applying data science to complex business problems with measurable outcomes * Strong knowledge of experimental design, A/B testing, statistical inference * Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R; experience with large datasets * Familiarity with Snowflake, Spark, dbt, ETL, and data-quality practices * Strong stakeholder management, data visualization and storytelling; ability to influence decisions * Experience in finance, payments, collections, operational optimization or mentoring juniors (desirable) Key requirements * Annual paid time off * Hybrid working with flexible arrangements * Up to 20 days per year abroad * Industry-leading product discounts * Booking.com wallet credit * Inclusive culture with diverse workforce
