Job description

Our client is looking for experienced System Administrators to support the State of New York’s Department of Social Services (DSS) in various critical IT initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have 4+ years of expertise in core networking technologies, including routing, firewall management, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
Additionally, 4+ years of experience with VoIP technologies and wireless systems, with a proven track record of deploying VoIP solutions in large-scale environments.
A strong background in testing methodologies and result analysis using automated and custom tools to assess network and security infrastructure is also required., * Minimum 4 Years of core competencies in routing, firewall, Intrusion detection system (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with VoIP technologies and wireless systems, with a strong background in VoIP technology deployment in large environments.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with testing methods and analysis of results using automated tools or custom tools to evaluate network and security infrastructure.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network outages and slowdowns.
Minimum 4 Years of expertise communicating effectively, on both a technical and non-technical level, with appropriate Agency staff at all levels, as well as with vendors.
Minimum 4 Years of expertise in handling multiple projects and deadlines.
