QA Automation Tester

Design and Development of Test Plans and Test Cases based on Client requirements and specifications through; Design, Develop and maintain test automation framework and strategies, and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of testing including unit, system, integration, smoke, functional, non-functional, and regression testing; Implement test solutions, write complex codes and scripts to test systems, implement test harnesses and infrastructure; Perform automation feasibility analysis and conduct proof-of-concept evaluation and demo for different systems under test;

Maintain system knowledge and provide technical support monitoring the existing systems and sharing it regularly with the end users; Create, and thoroughly document defects found using the application’s defect reporting template, maintain defect logs; provide summary reports on defects in accordance with established procedures for the application; Review, participate and document issues and defects found in walkthroughs of intermediate project deliverables; Provide support and contributes to the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation; Implement new and improve existing QA processes and standards through the successful execution of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC); Mentoring, training and providing guidance to the team; Collaborate with QA, Development teams, Project Managers, Technical services, and Business users; as well as Review technical documentation that includes Business requirements, Functional specs, Design, and Release content documents; Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

Languages, Skills and Tools: DB2, Oracle 11g, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres SQL, SAP- Hana, Basis (HR, Fi-CO, MM) SAP-CRM 7, FI, HR, MM, SD, Selenium Automation Testing and Dev Test, Windows 9X/2000/XP & Unix, Jira, Bugzilla, HP Service Manager - ALM and QC, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, Soap UI - webservice testing, Mainframe, EDO (Wipro Obfuscation tool), Oracle Xstore -POS (Payment device and other POS system)

Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Computer Information Systems/Engineering (Civil/Electronics/Mechanical). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Computer Information Systems/Engineering (Civil/Electronics/ Mechanical) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of Masters Degree. Alternatively, in lieu of degree in the proffered position, will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology and three years of experience equating to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information System followed by 5 years of progressive experience in related fields .
