The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, proactive, and highly organised IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day IT operations in our London office. This hands-on position requires deep technical expertise and leadership across Microsoft environments, network infrastructure, and end-user support.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and working as part of a global IT team, you’ll be the local lead in London, supported by a team of two. You’ll also collaborate with IT Managers in other international offices to ensure secure, reliable, and effective IT services that empower a dynamic, creative, and professional environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of IT support for all users in the London office.
- Manage and resolve service desk requests and incidents across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, network, telephony, and standard applications.
- Partner with the local Managing Director and other senior stakeholders to align IT priorities with office needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a focus on long-term solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate service documentation.
- Provide regular updates and clear communication to the CIO.
- Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and service providers.
- Oversee user account management, system permissions, and GDPR compliance.
- Identify and track recurring issues, sharing insights with the wider global IT team.
- Lead IT procurement and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and suggest improvements or new tools.
