Job description
JOB DUTIES: Create Flink jobs to transform data in Kafka for near real-time data latency requirements. Participate in and lead code reviews to maintain code quality standards. Lead high impact migrations across mission-critical data pipelines. Implement expert-level IAM data collection strategies across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and GCP). Control data transfer between cloud entities to optimize cloud costs. Resolve CVEs and vulnerabilities within microservices and container libraries. Deploy customizable serverless architecture using SAM (Serverless Application Model). Create self-serviceable platforms using Snowflake, S3, Airflow, and similar tools. Design solutions that can be leveraged across multiple teams and use cases. Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance. Lead development initiatives and drive projects from concept to completion. Work with management to improve SDLC processes and development workflows. Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical strategy. May telecommute from any home office in the U.S.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in software development. Two (2) years of experience must include:
Delivering efficient, maintainable code to support the Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) product and data pipeline. Utilizing Tools and Technologies used to perform above duties including: Golang, Pyspark, AWS Step Functions, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Lambdas, AWS S3, Kubernetes, GitHub, PagerDuty, Grafana. Cloud infrastructure optimization and maintenance. Data lake house formats including Delta, Hudi and Iceberg. Using CI/CD pipelines to deploy code. Data engineering experience with streaming and batch pipelines.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Company’s Bonus plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. The Company maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect the Company’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $114,754.00 - $171,700.00.
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
