Job description

The Programmer - Consultant role focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform. The consultant will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and technical teams to design and enhance applications supporting state government operations. This is a 12-month hybrid contract position requiring residency in SC, NC, or GA with commuting to Columbia, SC. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and enhance solutions using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Apps.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, and other technical teams.
  • Maintain and support enterprise-grade applications within the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during the recruitment and interview process., * Use of AI tools or platforms during the interview process is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and suspension from future opportunities.

Scheduling:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in office (Columbia, SC), 3 days remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Dataverse and Power Apps developer.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must be a resident of South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia and willing to commute to Columbia, SC two days per week.
  • Security clearance and adherence to confidentiality and verification protocols including criminal, credit, and E-Verify checks.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience working with state government or public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with hybrid work environments and remote collaboration tools.
  • Additional certifications related to Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies.
