Assistant Digital Solutions Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform) WSP - UK & Ireland

Job Description

Digital is changing the way we deliver and over the coming years will help the Water industry achieve AMP8 delivery targets. Emerging technologies such as Generative Design, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins and advanced analytics will transform our industry to deliver more sustainable, high-quality outcomes. You will support clients who are pushing the boundaries of technology to increase productivity and deliver real efficiencies throughout the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Use Python to automate repeatable tasks, transform datasets, validate data quality or prototype logic that complements low-code solutions.
  • Build and enhance SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries and metadata structures to support digital workflows and document/data management.
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate flows (approvals, notifications, data movement, scheduled jobs, governance-friendly automation).
  • Support data visualisation through tools such as Power BI, including data manipulation in PowerQuery, and working with stakeholders to communicate insights.
  • Help run discovery sessions with teams to understand pain points in delivery and collaborate to develop solutions.
  • Provide clear documentation, tested scripts, and maintainable solutions.
  • Support teams with digital tool integration and encourage adoption of automated processes.
  • Support solution development, technical support, and facilitate training and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or higher degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages and data integration tools such as Python and FME.
  • Experience managing data and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively understand team requirements, influence behaviours and foster a culture of innovation.

  • Undergraduate or higher degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages and data integration tools such as Python and FME.
  • Experience managing data and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively understand team requirements and influence behaviours, fostering a culture of innovation.
