Sales Engineer (HPE Networking)

• Following the acquisition of Juniper Networks, HPE Networking is bringing together industry-leading networking, security, AI-driven operations and cloud management technologies to help organisations transform how they connect, secure and manage their networks
• We’re looking for talented Sales Engineers to join our growing Networking team supporting customers across Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Local Government and Enterprise environments
• Whether you’re already working in pre-sales or looking to transition from networking, professional services, technical support or consulting, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a customer-facing technical role
• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and business challenges
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops
• Design networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio
• Support customers through discovery, evaluation and proof-of-concept activities
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners
• Develop expertise across enterprise networking technologies including Wi- Fi, switching, security and SD- WAN
• Work alongside experienced technical specialists while developing your own pre-sales capability

Experience & Technical Requirements

• Network Security - experience with two or more of:
• Excellent communication skills
• Network Access Control
• Experience running demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept activities
• 2+ years’ pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing technical experience
• Data Centre Networking
• 5+ years’ networking industry experience
• Looking to build a career in pre-sales
• SSE/SASE technologies
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies
• TCP-03
• Strong networking fundamentals
• Campus & Branch Switching
• Technical Experience
• SD- WAN
• Routing & WAN
• Passion for technology and customer engagement
