Platform Engineer

Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a strong Mid-Level Platform Engineer to join a well-established Retail / E-Commerce company in Macclesfield.

The team are currently going through a transformational phase across their Platform / DevOps estate, so this is a great opportunity for a Mid-Level Engineer (with a strong foundation in the space) looking to develop their career, really get their hands on various technologies, and work across the whole Platform lifecycle on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years experience in a DevOps / Platform capacity, and must have pre-existing experience across the following technologies:

• Containerisation with Kubernetes (and knowledge of Serverless)
• IaC with Terraform
• CI/CD with GitHub, ArgoCD (or equivalent technologies)
• Monitoring & Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, etc
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Security practices is also a bonus

This position can offer £60-70K on the base salary, dependant on experience. It is also largely remote, but does require an office presence once every fortnight.
