Infrastructure Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
• Provision and manage Azure resources, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Partner with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, infrastructure, and performance issues.
• Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Monitor infrastructure health, optimize performance, and implement capacity planning recommendations.
• Support infrastructure security, patching, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support for cloud modernization and infrastructure initiatives.

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience designing and supporting Azure cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Azure resources (VMs, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, Azure Backup, etc.).
• Strong experience troubleshooting application connectivity, infrastructure, and performance issues.
• Experience with Azure Backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), monitoring, and infrastructure best practices.

Desired Skills & Domain Experience

• MBI Clearance required.
• Federal/Government project experience preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise Azure environments in regulated or compliance-driven organizations.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) and automation using PowerShell is a plus.
