Job description
Procurement Systems Analyst required for a major UK organisation, offering Hybrid Working, paying up to £52,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Working Pattern: 3 days onsite, 2 days from home. The role can be based from Manchester, the East Midlands or Stansted.
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Systems Analyst with strong SAP Ariba Upstream experience to join a well-established Procurement Systems team supporting a large, complex organisation, with large on-going transformations - this is a role that will always keep you engaged / busy.
As Procurement Systems Analyst you’ll be a subject matter expert for the organisation’s SAP Ariba
You’ll ensure the Procurement function gets the very best from the platform whilst supporting continuous improvement across sourcing, contracts and supplier management.
Role Overview:
As Procurement Systems Analyst, you’ll join a small, collaborative team where your expertise will genuinely make a difference from day one.
You’ll act as the go-to person for SAP Ariba Upstream, supporting the Procurement team across sourcing, contracts, supplier lifecycle and performance, as well as the wider tendering and purchasing process.
This is a varied BAU role where you’ll configure the platform, create templates, forms and workflows, support new users, troubleshoot issues and continually improve how the system supports the business.
A big part of the role is working between Procurement and Technology.
You’ll take business requirements from Procurement, translate them into technical solutions and equally be able to explain technical concepts in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
If you enjoy being the bridge between business users and technical teams, you’ll enjoy this role.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience of:
- SAP Ariba Upstream
- Source to Contract (S2C)
- SAP Ariba Sourcing
- Contract Management
- Configuration, administration and templating within SAP Ariba
- Supporting users and acting as a system SME
- Working closely with Procurement stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions
Experience with Guided Buying would be advantageous, as would exposure to Ariba Risk, procurement data or advanced Excel, although these aren’t essential.
This is an opportunity to work for one of the UK’s largest and most recognisable organisations, supporting procurement systems that underpin significant supplier spend and business-critical operations. You’ll play a key role within a collaborative team that genuinely values systems expertise and offers plenty of opportunity to influence how the platform evolves over time.
