Job description
We are supporting a leading global technology consultancy in recruiting a Security Consultant to join their growing Cyber Security practice. This is an opportunity to work on complex security and digital transformation programmes across Defence, Central Government, Healthcare and the wider UK Public Sector.
You’ll work closely with clients and multidisciplinary technology teams to design secure architectures, identify cyber risks and advise on appropriate security controls and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of cyber security, risk management and security architecture, who is comfortable working in a client-facing environment and advising stakeholders on complex security challenges.
Candidates should have experience of:
- Designing or reviewing security architectures and solution designs
- Cyber security principles and risk management
- IAM / IDAM, PAM and SSO
- Network security, encryption and/or cloud security
- Threat modelling and identifying architectural vulnerabilities
- Developing security controls and risk mitigation strategies
- Working with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR or PCI-DSS
- Communicating security risks to technical and senior stakeholders
- Working across complex IT infrastructure and transformation programmes
Desirable experience:
- Hands-on Cloud and/or Network Security
- Security Architecture or Cyber Security Consulting
- CISSP, SABSA or similar certification
- Current SC or DV Security Clearance
Security Clearance Requirements:
Candidates must hold full British Citizenship and be eligible for BPSS and SC Security Clearance, requiring 5 years’ continuous UK address history at the point of application.
