Job description

Configure, maintain, and support Epic Tapestry modules related to Utilization Management, Case Management, Appeals & Grievances, Membership/Eligibility, Enrollment, and Provider Management.

Collaborate with business and operational teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and implement system enhancements within the Epic Tapestry environment.

Support provider and vendor contract configuration, enrollment processes, and payer-side operational workflows.

Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Epic Reporting Workbench, Clarity SQL, Cogito, and Caboodle tools.

Create and troubleshoot SQL/PL-SQL queries to support reporting, data validation, and operational analytics needs.

Perform system testing, issue resolution, and ongoing production support for Epic Tapestry applications and related integrations.

Ensure compliance with healthcare payer regulations, including Medicare guidelines and utilization management standards.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business intelligence, operations, and clinical stakeholders, to improve system functionality and reporting accuracy.

Support data analysis and business intelligence initiatives by leveraging Epic BID tools and payer-side reporting solutions.

Participate in system upgrades, workflow optimization projects, and process improvement initiatives for integrated provider/payer environments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Appeals?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelors Degree Required

-Certification: Epic Tapestry Certification (Tapestry Foundations)

-Minimum Exp: 3 years years of recent experience in Healthcare.

-Experience with:

  • EPIC Tapestry Utilization Management and/or Case Management

  • EPIC Tapestry Appeals and Grievances

  • EPIC Tapestry Membership/Eligibility and Enrollment Administration

  • EPIC Tapestry Provider Management and/or Provider/Vendor Contracts

  • EPIC Tapestry Core

  • EPIC Business Intelligence Developer (BID) - ideally on the payer side, but if they have any of the following, its great:

o Common Spec/DINE experience

o Create, maintain, optimize SQL queries in EPIC Clarity

o EPIC Cogito experience

o EPIC Caboodle Data Model experience

o Reporting Workbench Report and Extract development

PREFERRED:

Other experience that could be helpful:

  • Experience with Medicare line of business/regulations

  • EPIC Provider/Payer ‘shared instance’ experience (working for an integrated health plan)

  • SQL and/or PL/SQL experience

  • Ideally Tapestry Utilization Management certification., * Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Healthcare Industry: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Epic Tapestry (Required)
