Job description

We’re seeking an engineer, not just a coder - someone who understands how software works beyond writing code and can make sound technical decisions.

Key requirements:

Solid understanding of system architecture, software engineering principles, and system design
Previous Java experience is highly desirable
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of APIs and backend integrations
Experience with observability, including metrics, logs, traces, latency, and monitoring
Good understanding of distributed systems vs. microservices
Experience explaining technical decisions, trade-offs, deployments, and system improvements
Practical experience working with LLMs, including prompting, querying, and understanding their limitations
Comfortable using AI as a development aid, while maintaining strong coding ability and engineering judgement-this role requires hands-on software engineering, not reliance on AI-generated code.
