Role Overview

As a Front End Engineer at Blink, you will work within a cross-functional squad to develop and enhance the user interface of our platform. Your work will focus on creating fast, responsive, and accessible web applications while collaborating with designers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop frontend solutions using TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React (or similar frameworks) to build reusable, responsive UI components.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver cohesive product features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring performance optimisation and participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and continuously improve the codebase, processes, and tooling.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with React and related tooling (Redux Toolkit, RTK/Tanstack Query, React Router, Webpack/Rspack, Cypress/Playwright, Next.js, Node.js, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable, testable code.
  • Self-starter attitude, eager to learn, thrives in high-functioning team.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
